These both hit me hard... powerful stuff, and timely. Much ink has been spent in praise of all that is worth protecting in nature, yet somehow we still seem to forget.

You would certainly be forgiven for thinking so! That summer was in the 40‘s and utterly boiling!!! It felt completely relentless.

Hi Susannah. Such a vital subject.... 40+ heat is very familiar to me, from my years living and working in remote desert communities of Central Australia, but to find that happening in Germany is beyond disturbing. We live near the coast now, but the climate fluctuations are definitely getting wilder.
